Help info for navigating the photos

The photos shown here could be transfered to the webserver only in small resolution, as the bandwith from most places in India is generaly less for higher resolutions. On demand, single photos are available also in high resolution, that is suitable for printing. For detail and questions about the copyright, please contact Andreas Berg .

You can change the lanuage in the intro page per "Englisch" / "German". On the pages showing the photos, there are bright red numbers in the upper left corner, you can use for photo orders.

This part of my website was tested for the Windows XP versions of Mozilla 1.2.1, Netscape Communicator 4.7, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and Opera 6.05. If there are problems, please contact Andreas Berg .

With respect to older browser versions, I avoided using any gimmicks, javascript etc. Though recommended by the W3C, I could not put all formatting in CSS (Cascading Stylesheets), as there still seems to exists no common sense about CSS between different browsers.

Adjusting the browser window

Ideally, the photos adjust themselves to the current size of the browser window. However, if you make the window too big, the photos looks not very nice, due to their low resolution. As I did not find a good solution, that works for all mentioned browsers at the same time, I choosed a frame based implementation. Browser, that can't do with frames, are out. Sorry !

The windows are divides in three frames, the left frame containing the navigation, middle frame for the photo, right frame for showing some text. In case the photo's width doesn't fit exactly in the middle frame, a scroll will appear. This can be avoided, if you use the mouse for increasing the window's width or make it less high .
